I don't like to use salted butter because when the recipe calls for salt your not getting the exact quantity that you need due to the salt in your butter. That's the reason why, but you can use it. I always buy unsalted and salted specifically so I have what I need for baking. <br /><br />I hope you love the cookies!! I make them every Christmas Eve for my nieces and nephews. Then I bring frosting and we decorate them for Santa together.
